It was such a joy to welcome baby Eleanor into our newborn photography studio. She was 12 days old and was such a little sweetheart. Her parents were so excited to have her join their growing family and be able to capture these moments that will be cherished for years to come.

We had the pleasure of having her big brother Matthew join us for the session. He also came to us for a newborn photography session just a couple years back so I was excited to see how much he had grown. He is two years old now and was so sweet with his new baby sister Eleanor. He gave her lots of kisses and was very gentle. It can sometimes be tricky to get the cooperation of a toddler, but he was a total star! We also made sure to include lots of shots of Eleanor’s parents with her. Parents are such an important part of newborn sessions, and it was so wonderful to capture those sweet moments between them.
The theme of the session was pinks, whites, neutrals, and mauves. We used lots of fabrics & textures in these colors and Eleanor looked so precious in them. Newborn sessions are so special. They capture moments that are fleeting and that are gone in the blink of an eye. These images will be looked back on and treasured for years to come. They will be a reminder of the tiny details that Eleanor had when she was first born, and how much she and her family have grown. When Eleanor is older, she will be able to look back at these images and see how loved she was from the very beginning.
