Brecksville Maternity Photographer
Mama Liz | 32 Weeks Along
This pregnant goddess walked into my Maternity & Newborn studio in Avon Ohio ready & willing to create some magic with me. We discussed prior to her session date on specific looks she was interested in achieving & after that convo, I was so excited to say the least. From a boss babe suit to an informal slouchy feel, we did it all! This was one hot mama, let me tell you! It was amazing to style & shoot her maternity session & have fun together while doing so.
After her session was over, I couldn't WAIT to get started on editing this total vibe of a gallery. That being said, the two weeks of chaos ensued & Northeast Ohio was hit with a tornado storm that knocked out power for over 300,000 homes in the area. Needless to say, because of this, I was out of power & internet for almost a week, both at my home & the studio. I was so defeated because I REALLY wanted to get to work on this beautiful maternity gallery. Skip to a week later the power & internet are restored (YAY) & it's time to get cracking on this gorgeous maternity gallery. So I thought anyways.
First off, looking through this mama's pregnancy images had me in awe. Did I really take these? How is this woman even real?! I deep dived into getting started & worked on about 5-6 images. The next day I had a session in studio all morning but planned to get right back into her gallery afterwards. I kid you not when I got home internet wasn't working. The neighbor is doing construction & turns out our internet line was pulled out of the way, causing damage. I can't make this stuff up.... but I called to have them out to fix things (Which wouldn't be until the following week ugh) & I had a little mini meltdown in the process. That being said I told myself I would find a way.
Skip to next day my husband says, "can we use a hot spot on our phones?" I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of that. We tried & (although kind of slow) it worked & I was able to edit this mama's maternity images. I updated her along the way of this entire ordeal & she was so incredibly understanding. She even said to me at one point "You know what they say, great things come to those who wait" & she was right!
If you're still with me thanks for listening to my nightmare of a 2 weeks haha. She has received her stunning gallery FINALLY & I was so grateful to have found a way to get it to her. I am so blessed to create this magic with such authentic & powerful mothers like Liz. I hope you all enjoy her images as a lot of love (& slight chaos lol) went into the making of them.
In the meantime, if you need me this week, I'll be over here editing all my photography sessions with a hot spot lol
