Over at Ity Bity Photography in Avon, Ohio, I recently had the pleasure of hosting a memorable cake smash session for none other than Jose Ramirez Jr., the adorable one-year-old son of, you guessed it, pro baseball player Jose Ramirez. From the moment Jose Jr. stepped into our studio, it was clear that we were in for a treat.
Initially hesitant about the cake, one year Jose quickly embraced the sweetness and fun of the moment. With each bite and playful gesture, he unleashed a delightful array of expressions just having a ball (no pun intended) with everything. The best photograph I captured was him flipping over the cake stand to inspect what was inside. It was the highlight of the session without a doubt! Laughter filled the studio as we eagerly awaited his next move.
But the fun didn't stop there. In addition to the cake smash, we also captured some more formal looks, including some adorable baseball-themed shots. With his curly hair and infectious smile, one year Jose stole the show in every frame.
As a photographer, moments like these are what I live for – capturing the joy and innocence of childhood in its purest form. I am incredibly grateful to little Jose's family for choosing Ity Bity Photography to document this special milestone in their lives.
