Oh what fun it is to be ONE! I remember when I first started photographing Leo at the Avon, Ohio studio when he was only 8 days old. He was a little chunky guy who was soooo lovable. We are now celebrating his first birthday & I can't believe it. He definitely gave us some laughs throughout his 1 Year session & we all had a blast, including his big brother Declan! We started with 1 Year formal portraits (because let's be honest there's no going back after the cake smash haha) & he was all smiles.

Leo (& his brother Declan) were both eyeing this delicious cake from the second they walked into the studio. Leo really took his time enjoying every bite of his special cake. He was born so close to 4th of July, so we did the cutest theme to match that vibe. It turned out to be such an adorable, colorful cake smash set for him. Even the cake itself matched perfectly! It was SO yummy that we invited his older brother Declan to come over to the set & take a bite which of course he obliged quickly. This also gave me some time to get a couple cute individual shots of him too.

Now it was time for us to wind down, get cleaned up from all the fun cake smashing that just ensued, & have a couple great giggles. He LOVED the bathtub (like most kids do) so it gave for some great shots at the end. Mom expressed that the bathtub images were some of her favorites from his older brother Declan's one year cake smash a year back, so I am delighted we got so many good ones of Leo too. It has been such a joy photographing this beautiful family over the last few years. Happy Birthday Leo! I hope your day is filled with lots of magic & cake.
